Until the game started and somebody mentioned the teams, I had no idea who was even playing. That's how out of the loop I am regarding football, sports in general really. Although I am happy the Packers won cause I'm tired of hearing Steelers fans talk about how amazing their team is and how they're going to win, and blah blah blah. Shut up. I don't care.
At work one day, on a Sunday, a co-worker asked me if I wanted in on the pool (is that what it's called?) for the game that night. My first question wasn't 'who's playing?', which they at least would have expected, but instead it was 'what pool?'
I had no idea sports were going on.
They were like, 'Storm! You live in Ohio! All we talk about is football!' And I was all, 'don't raise your voice to me! I have better things to do with my time than watch sports games!'
I don't but they don't know that.
Saturday Jeremy asked me if we knew anyone who was having a Super Bowl party, and I asked why cause he shows only slightly more interest in sports than I do. He said he wanted deviled eggs. So we went to my parents, who we thought were sure to have deviled eggs, they do for almost literally every other occasion.
Not this time.
Sorry Jeremy.
